We locked E.F.'s daddy out, and told him to go to work, like we do with all the parents at drop off time, and I told E. she needed to go to work too, no fun for her.  The kids told me that only mommies and daddies get to go to work.  I told them I’m a mommy, and I get to work.  “No you don’t,” they told me.  “You don’t work!” they laughed.
