There are some things we just have to do. Making cookies for the letter C is one of them! What a fun "have-to-do" it is!
We did two cookie projects this week. For the first, I spread peanut butter on graham crackers, and the children used cookies and candies to turn it into a "camera".
Another day we made cookies from scratch!
As always, we started by washing our hands. The children helped me a few at a time, but everyone had a turn to do something.
They measured and poured, cracked eggs, sifted flour, and mixed.
To make our cookies C shaped, the children rolled the dough in their hands to make a snake shape, then bent it on the cookie sheet to form the letter. It was hard to not eat them right away!
I baked them as the children got up from nap, and we had warm cookies and cold milk for snack. :-)
Like Cookie Monster says, "C is for cookie, that's good enough for me!"
" Cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C!"
